Researchers at University College London are carrying out a study titled ‘Exploring the relationships between eating disorders, autism, alexithymia and interoception’
The researchers are seeking participants with a clinical diagnosis of any eating disorder to take part in a study on how the ability to detect heart rate affects mental health.
This study involves a series of questionnaires that should take around an hour. The questionnaires will cover topics such as your mental health, how much attention you pay to signals in your body, how accurate you are at recognising these signals, how negative these signals feel to you, how well you can describe your emotions, and your gender and age.
To take part in this study, you should be aged 18 or over and speak English fluently. There will be a short screening questionnaire to make sure you meet these criteria.
If you participate, you will be entered into a prize draw to win one of ten £25 vouchers
