Bodywhys will today (January 4th) launch a new support group for people affected by eating disorders in the Cavan area.

This new service is being launched in conjunction with the Eating Disorders project of the CAWT (Co-operation and Working Together) cross border health services partnership and marks the further development of eating disorder support services in the North West.

The support group launches following an information evening and volunteer recruitment drive in late 2010.

Bodywhys support groups are facilitated by trained volunteers providing a safe, confidential and supportive environment for people to explore issues relating to an eating disorder.

Bodywhys Cavan support groups will take place on the first Tuesday of each month from 7:30pm. The groups are free to attend and are open to those over the age of 18.
