Ava has vast experience working with families who have children and adolescents with special needs, Relative Energy Deficiency Syndrome (REDS) and Avoidance Restrictive Feeding Intake Disorder (ARFID) requiring specialist nutrition support.  Ava will assess and evaluate dietary intake to identify potential deficiencies and create an individualised plan taking into account sensory issues.  Ava will reassure, offer and guide families through new food exposure and help reduce mealtime anxiety.  Ava does not see clients with Anorexia Nervosa or Bulimia.
