Cyberbullying Experiences and Mental Health Impacts among Higher Education Students in Ireland

The background of the project involves anyone who is between 18 to 25 years old. We also want to highlight that we are not looking for participants having cyberbullying experiences only. The study includes individuals who may have experienced cyberbullying, and we are equally interested in participants who have knowledge of or have witnessed such experiences.

The study seeks participants who:
• Have experienced cyberbullying/ know of or have witnessed such experiences.
• Are willing to share their perspectives through an online anonymous survey.

Participants are invited to take part in a study about experiences or knowledge about cyberbullying and the mental health impact of such an experience through an online anonymous survey. The study aims to understand these varied perspectives through their responses, we hope to develop comprehensive recommendations and support systems for students who may encounter or observe cyberbullying.

  • Recruitment process and what’s expected of participants – Fill up the online anonymous survey.
  • Format – Online anonymous survey set in DCU’s Qualtrics platform.
  • Confidentiality – The survey is completely anonymous.
